Nominations are being accepted for the Leadership Beaumont 2013 class.  Email nominations to sbartos@bmtcoc.org.  Submit the nominee's name, business, position, mailing address, phone, fax and email.  Application deadline is March 15.  Orientation for nominees will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the chamber board room.  Application forms will be given to the nominees at the orientation on March 29.  The 2013 LB program will begin August 23, 2012.

Sixty eighth grade students from 7 BISD middle schools, Lumberton middle school and two Port Arthur middle schools participated in a youth leadership program on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Lamar University.   Jimmy Harrison, Talon Insurance Agency, is chairman of the youth leadership committee.

The Total Resource Campaign is a six week sponsorship drive to secure sponsorships for the upcoming year. These sponsorships fund our operations, events, publications and electronic media. Over the next several weeks, you may be contacted by a volunteer working on behalf of the Chamber to give you an opportunity to choose a sponsorship that will benefit your business.
