SETEDF and SBAlliance Capital would like to thank everyone that attended our annual meeting on Friday, December 9th. We had a record crowd and we truly appreciate the support that is shown for the Foundation and SBAlliance. The annual meeting was held at Pappadeaux's with a luncheon with over 70 guests. Included were representatives from the Small Business Administration Houston District office and the business partners who assist us with our 504 loan program, Scott Atckinson with Statesman Business Advisors and the Eric Hird with the Hird Law Firm. Recognition was given to the Snider Law Firm for their assistance to the foundation. SB Alliance completed 6 loans during the recognition period naming Wayne Holland with Community Bank of Texas as the Lender of the Year. Third Coast Bank was recognized for largest loan volume and Scott Adams for the largest single SBA Loan.

Tommy Patrizi, TRC Chairman hosted a TRC Team Captain training on Friday, December 9.  The training provided team captains information on what their role will be for the 2012 Total Resource Campaign.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and team member, please contact Rene' at 409-838-6581. Look for more TRC information in the coming weeks!

Congratulations to Kathleen Jackson and Katie Veselka for winning $25 gift cards from Mobiliol Federal Credit Union in our Chamber Clips "found it" challenge. Be on the lookout for more chances to win in the future.

Membership Division

Thank you to all who participated in and attended the 2011 Let It Shine new member showcase. Each member decorated their table beautifully and really showed what they have to offer. There were tasty treats and sights to behold as our new members Let It Shine!

Once again, we would like to thank our sponsors, Mobiloil Federal Credit Union, Colonial Life and SAFE Credit Union, as well as our entertainment, DJ Darrell Broussard and the Wesley United Methodist Church choir.
