Sunday, June 12 is Pentecost Sunday. Wear red as we celebrate the sending of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. Sunday morning DIG for children is back again this summer and on Sunday we'll be "digging in" to the story of Pentecost! We have baptisms to celebrate and, of course, we celebrate the summer season with its sunshine and warmth! Worship is at 9 am and 10:30 am. See you at church! |

MISSION WEEK is June 20-23!
This summer we are taking a special week to serve others and help in our own community. Mission Week is June 20-23 and the cost is $75 per person. Scholarships are available - just ask! This is our primary junior high event. Space is limited so sign up as soon as possible. We have plans to serve at:

CEAP
TreeHouse Youth in Brooklyn Park
Access-ability
363 Days
We'll wrap up the week with a trip to Valley Fair!

VEGGIE CAMP: GOD'S SUPERSTARS - we're going "backstage with the Bible" in a rock concert format to learn about key Bible stories through music, crafts, games and drama!
At Veggie Camp, we'll learn the stories of:
- Creation
- God's Law (10 Commandments)
- The Cross
- Salvation (grace and forgiveness)
- The Great Commission
Cost is $55. Extended Care is available for an additional fee and it requires advance registration. Contact Katie for information.

| MEALS-ON-WHEELS Drivers Needed | | Monthly - In the Fall
 Part of the CEAP Award-winning Prince of Peace team is two teams of drivers who manage a route on a Thursday and a Friday. Prepared food is delivered to people in need. Each route takes less than one hour! Can you help or can you be a substitute? Contact Ken Lundgren or the church office to learn more.

| UPDATE - LOAVES & FISHES KITCHEN REMODLE | | Construction delayed due to permits The kitchen remodel for Loaves & Fishes at River of Life Lutheran Church will begin Monday, June 13 and will last approximately three months. During this time, River of Life has contracted with a caterer to prepare meals. Our crew will still be needed on our designated Fridays to serve the meals. Every two months, there will be a different donation drive for items to help TreeHouse, a ministry in Brooklyn Park serving troubled teens for the past 25 years! Please place items in the TreeHouse at church
