| SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS | | CLANCY'S CORNER
I hope everyone is adjusting to the snow, once again. It seems we just can't get enough of this stuff! I am praying for safe travels as the snow continues to fall.
This week I am putting together the rest of the resource room. I had terrific clean-up help from some volunteers! Come check out the hard work that was put into this Sunday.
I am also searching for Sunday School Volunteers for the next 2 weeks (February 6 and February 13) for about 10-15 minutes at both services. If you are interested, let me know and I can get you the information you would need to be a workshop leader. The activity is simple, so not much preparation needs to be put forth.
VALENTINE BANQUET:
The annual Valentine Banquet is fast approaching. Just a reminder that this event is open to the entire congregation, so join us Friday, February 11th @ 6:00 in the CLC.
SUNDAY SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS: MUSIC LEADER and WORKSHOP LEADERS NEEDED!
If you have a love of Children and are wondering how you can help out here at Prince of Peace, Sunday School has some areas that could use your help.
We continue to have a need for workshop leaders for 9 am and 10:30 am. If you have children in Sunday School, this is a wonderful and rewarding way to support the children's ministry. Please contact Amanda for more information.

This past week we watched the news as Punxsutawney Phil heralded "No shadow! Spring is near!" While most of us are thrilled with that news and await spring with anticipation, I can't help but remember my mother telling me, "Don't wish your life away." Let's pause to enjoy each the moments throughout the day - whether snowy, sunny or stormy. Each day is a gift. May we rejoice in the moments we have today and await tomorrow with confidence that God is forever near. He cares for each of us, and he loves to see us enjoy the precious gift of every moment.
