JAMAICAN BBQ FEBRUARY 5
Issue 221 January 2011

It's the January deep freeze. Thankfully we have hearty souls and the warmth of our Savior, our families, and our church home. I can't help but think of the blankets that were donated to the homeless just a few short weeks ago. What a blessing those blankets are to someone right now.

Tonight is "Chick Flick" night at Prince of Peace. Dinner and a movie for women of all ages. Step out of your warm home and into the warmth of fellowship here. The food is sure to be delicious, the movie will be fun and time with old and new friends is priceless. Grab your neighbor and come on over.

This will be an action-packed weekend at Prince of Peace. We pray that you'll take part as we continue to shape our ministries by growing deep in faith and reaching out in Christian love. What ministry tugs at your heart? We encourage you to become more involved in the ministries where God is leading you.

YOUTH "STOCK" SALE - JANUARY 22-23

PASTORAL CALL SURVEY RESULTS
Membership input is a key part of the call
The Call Committee has finished its work on the Membership Assessment Survey for a Senior Pastor. The resulcall committeets are straightforward. Click on these links to see the survey responses by category and the areas of focus based on ministry teams. The membership clearly indicated its desire to have a senior pastor who delivers inspiring sermons that relate well in the lives of our members. Planning and coordinating an excellent Sunday morning experience that is engaging, fun, relational, and welcoming are the most important skill sets for our new senior pastor. We also received many written comments which the team is still reviewing and categorizing.  Thank you to those 202 members who submitted a survey!

The Call Committee is using these results to finalize our ministry profile document. In the very near future the team will begin to review and consider possible candidates. Thank you for your prayers, and, keep them coming! Your input is always welcomed and desired. The Call Committee has a table in the Welcome Center most every Sunday. Stop by and chat awhile.

Blessings, The Call Committee
