Need to Register to Vote?  Confused about the Propositions?  Here you go....

There are two education related initiatives on this November's ballot.

Proposition 38 is supported by California State PTA and the Manhattan Beach Council of PTAs.  This initiative would contribute about $27million over 12 years directly into MBUSD and bypass Sacramento.  Of that $27 million, about $2.8 million goes to Meadows.

Proposition 30 is part of the Governor's budget and may not contribute new funds to MBUSD but could avoid about $3 million in further budget reductions.

Also, we have put together a comparison chart of both propositions for your reference.  Please click here to see this comparison.
Finally, did you know that for the first time in California, residents can now register to vote online:
http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/elections_vr.htm.  The deadline for ONLINE voter registration is October 22nd.  Let's show Sacramento that parents DO CARE and DO VOTE!
MBEF Needs You!
MBEF logo Did You Know MBEF donations can be made in installments? Go to www.mbef.org today and you can plan to give monthly until June 2013. Meadows needs MBEF and MBEF needs you!
