Meadows PTA spends $350 per child, per year. Your $150 per child membership (or $250 per family) includes one Meadows t-shirt and student directory. Your $500 donation includes one T-shirt per student, one student directory, and special recognition in the directory. You received the form in your Tuesday envelope or may also print one from the Meadows website or donate online. Donate today! |
VOLUNTEER - WE NEED YOU!
| | If you have the time, we need you! Please consider volunteering your time and talent to Meadows. Without our volunteers, we are not able to offer some of the programs and events you all know and love!! Please turn in the Volunteer form by this Friday, September 7th, or complete it online, if you wish to be considered for the classroom volunteer positions!! Please contact Deb Doyle at volunteeratmeadows@gmail.com. |
Be a Super Stang - and enter to win an iTouch!
| |
Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year! As our children jump right back into the school routine, let's not forget about our job as parents to make their elementary experience the best it can be. PTAs in Manhattan Beach are a significant funding source for our schools. Without PTA raised dollars, we would not have computers or iPads in our classrooms, books in our library, supplies in our science lab, or paper in our copiers, to name a few things. As state funding for public education worsens, we just work harder in Manhattan Beach to fill in the gaps and keep our schools top notch. (Third in the state to be exact!) This seems like a daunting task, but it really isn't when you share the responsibility with 350 families. When we all pitch in, the work is not only lighter, but also a lot of fun!
Remember - if you complete and turn in your SuperStang packet by September 21st, you will be entered into a drawing for an iTouch!! You received this information in your Tuesday envelope, but you may also go to the website to print any forms or to donate online!!
