A message from Jennifer Cochran, Meadows PTA President:
As the school year has officially come to a close, I want to take a moment to thank everyone for their dedication and hard work. A school is far more than the walls that make up the physical structure. It is the people who thrive within those walls that give it life. Our teachers and staff are the steady, constant, life of our school and we thank them for making Meadows such a joyful place for our children to learn and grow year after year. They provide the supportive culture that our parents and students depend upon.
What would our school look like without the parents who provide thousands of hours of volunteer time and donate so many resources? Thank you to each and every one of you for your contributions to the greater community this year. It is only with this support that we are able to provide the programs, cultural arts, supplies, technology and fun community events. Meadows would be a very different place without the amazing support we all provide to MBEF and Meadows PTA.
Finally, the pulse of any school is the children who walk through the halls every day beaming with new found knowledge and sharing experiences with friends. This is their community and they will carry these experiences and memories throughout their lives. Thank you for making this a supportive and safe community for all of our children. We wish the 5th graders lots of luck as they spread their wings and go on to middle school. We will miss them and their wonderful families.
Thanks to everyone for making the 2011-12 school year at Meadows a great success! Have a safe, happy and relaxing summer and we look forward to another great year.
