May Was A Great Month for Music
 | | Peekskill Middle School Chorus, directed by Lawrence Del Casale |
Over the past few weeks, students at the Hillcrest School, the Peekskill Middle School, and Peekskill High School have presented a trio of outstanding musical performances by strings, woodwinds, bands, and choruses. Music teachers John Hahn, Lawrence Del Casale, David Thomas, Kim Meade, and Andrea Moffett, as well as the students and their parents, created the wonderful sounds that were enjoyed by all.

May Was A Great Month for Science
The annual PHS Science Symposium was a great success this year as more students than ever presented their science research. Enrollment in the Independent Science Research Program is at an all-time high, and 22 new students were inducted into the national science honor society by Science Chair Gordon Hubbard.

In addition, science teacher Ralph Rodriguez will be taking four PHS sophomores to the prestigious White Plains Invitational in June to share their research: Kyle Glickert, Nolan Mercado, Ariana Memoli, and Jordyn Philips. Four PHS juniors will also participate as judges. Their participation is made possible by a grant from the Institute for Student Achievement.
