Budget Taking Shape With a deadline of April 12, the Board of Education is drawing close to adopting a budget for the 2011-2012 school year. The Citizens' Budget Advisory Committee hosted a Saturday public forum at the Peekskill Middle School and that budget presentation is available on the District Web site under the "Budget" Tab heading. Currently, the Board of Education is considering a budget to budget increase of less than 1% and a tax rate increase of between 2% and 3%.
