A community forum on the Peekskill City School District budget will be held on Saturday, March 12, in the Peekskill Middle School Auditorium, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Interim Superintendent Dr. Lorenzo Licopoli and members of the Citizen's Budget Advisory Committee, as well as Board of Education members, will present and discuss a preliminary budget estimate for the 2011-2012 school year and answer all questions from the community. 

All Peekskill residents are encouraged to attend.

Thanks to the Citizens' budget Advisory Committee, the community's voice has been heard during the collaborative process of planning the 20011-2012 school budget. According to Gregory Sullivan, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Administrative Services,  "The Citizen's Budget Advisory Committee is a group that has been commissioned by the Board to provide input into the budget development process in a challenging fiscal environment. Their work is invaluable."

The Committee's liaison from the Board is Lisbeth Bock, and the members this year include Carolyn Geisel, John Hallinan, Paulette Harris, Dr. Lorenzo Licopoli, Dr. Connie Lobur, Andy Mavian, Conrad McMillan, and Eileen Warmbrand.
