Saddle Up is a one time riding experience that introduces children and adults to horsemanship and riding. This two-hour session is offered on a Saturday afternoon each month. Participants are invited to engage with horses and learn the basics of grooming, tacking up, riding, and horse behavior.  Saddle Up is designed to give prospective riders an idea of the full riding experience at MacNair's, without committing to weekly lessons and the purchase of a riding helmet and boots. Community School is for adults and for children10 and older. Most riders, after participating in Saddle Up, enroll in Earn Your Stirrups, a discounted package of 8 private or semi-private lessons that prepare students to ride safely in a group.
