"Growing up in Sweden, Nordlander, 42, took riding lessons on one recalcitrant Fjord that routinely dumped other children.
"He was so bad, I got to ride him for free," Nordlander recalled. "The instructor was always yelling, 'Hold on, Peter, hold on!'"
Fast forward 35 years, and Nordlander - who moved to Southern Pines from Mexico City in 2007 - has become a crowd favorite on the local dressage scene."

Don't assume that only dressage riders would benefit from a lesson with Peter. He is an excellent instructor and can help improve hunters, equitation and jumpers as well.
