2009 has been a challenging year for everyone and Summit Healthcare is certainly no exception.  We have had to do our share of belt-tightening, and implementing methodologies to increase productivity and value to our clients.  As a result, we have continued to release product enhancements at a steady pace, many of which are a direct result of the feedback from our client base.  Beginning in Q3 of this year, we have embarked on our Customer Care Initiative.  This exciting project is targeted at reaching out to every client at all levels in their organization - from the systems analyst responsible for working with our tools, to the CIO who is responsible for ensuring that his/her investment in Summit Healthcare is making a positive impact on their healthcare organization.  Be on the lookout for our calls! 
 
We know that every client is unique and that we're at our best when we've had time to understand their specific needs and challenges. I'm pleased to say that many of our valued clients have been with us for years and our team is fully committed to serving our clients and mindful of the trust that they have placed in us. Today, we're convinced that Summit Healthcare has never been in a stronger position. Boulder Community Hospital Migrates to Meditech 6.0 and Chooses Summit Healthcare as their Integration Partner
 
Boulder Community Hospital a non-profit, community owned facility with 265 licensed beds successfully migrated from Meditech Magic to Meditech 6.0 on October 1, 2009. 
 
In the beginning stages of their migration planning, Boulder Community Hospital recognized the need to streamline their current interface environment including integration with local Physician Offices.  Boulder realized quickly that interface management in addition to the tasks surrounding the Meditech 6.0 migration was daunting and time consuming for the already stretched staff.  Evaluation of their existing interface landscape revealed three different vendor interface engines in place which was difficult to manage and costly to maintain.  They also had some immediate concerns with data migration and dictionary maintenance.
