hands around globeThe Kansas City Open House drummed up a flurry of interest in both the Sunday Mroning Classes as well as the Pre-recorded Study. To allow for Kansas Cityans to study their schedules and register, the JconnecT starting dates have been adjusted.  Please make note of starting dates and times for your JconnecT Program. Jconnecters from Kansas City and (introducing) New Jersey are invited to join the two base groups:
 
Birmingham: 10-12 CDT, studying Parshat Hashavua and Contemporary Jewish Issues. Teacher: Semadar Goldstein.Starting: Sept 12, 2010
 
Nashville: 10-10:50, 11:30-12:20, studying Intro to Talmud, Levels II and I. Teacher: Rabbi Joel Cohn. Starting: Sept 19, 2010

 Your donation will allow JconnecT to launch the best possible program for your child. 
 Introducing the
 JconnecT Certificate
of Jewish Studies
 
JconnecT Certificate 
 
Satisfactorily complete one year of JconnecT courses and receive a Level One Certificate of Jewish Studies.
 
Two years of JconnecT = Level Two, and so on.
 
Begin JconnecT in 8th grade and finish in 12th grade and receive a LEVEL 5 Certificate.
 
All JconnecT Certificates are signed by JconnecT  Directors and will be distributed at the end of the year.

JconnecT registration is currently open. Other cities are in touch with us regarding beginning JconnecT. We will keep you updated as others join. Please forward JconnecT information to friends in your or other cities. Information about JconnecT and an online registration form is  available on our blog or contact JconnecT Directors, Rabbi Gil Perl and Mrs. Semadar Goldstein at jconnecter@gmail.com for more details.  After registering, we will be pleased to feature you child in the JconnecT Newsletter. Please send the following information in a reply mail about your child:
  • a photo
  • hobbies and interests
  • high school and elementary school attended

What is JconnecT? 

JconnecT is an online Jewish Studies program which offers dynamic, live, weekly study sessions with an experienced teacher in Jerusalem for students in grades 7-10.
  

Group Online Mentoring

 
These sessions, as well as pre-recorded online sessions and three annual in-person events to be held in centrally located Memphis, TN, will create a vibrant social, educational community of Jewish learning.
