What is JconnecT?
JconnecT is an online Jewish Studies program which offers two dynamic, live, weekly study sessions with an experienced teacher in Jerusalem for students in grades 5-7 and 8-10, 10-12 CST.
Session I: Jewish Identity as related to holidays and the weekly Torah portion (parshat hashavua).
Session II: Contemporary Jewish Issues as connected through current events that surround Jewish life in the US and Israel which includes Hebrew language, Israeli culture, and Jewish history.
These sessions, as well as an optional online guided supplemental study and three annual in-person events to be held in centrally located Memphis, TN, will create a vibrant social, educational community of Jewish learning.
