sportsNoah completed 9th grade at the Martin Luther King Magnet School in Nashville, TN after attending the Akiva Elementary School.   Noah is involved with student activities at Congregatioin Sherith Israel, where he volunteers with younger children and pursues his Jewish education. He loves sports and is excited about starting JconnecT with his friends from Nasvhille, TN!

Jordan recently completed 7th grade at Mountain Brook Junior High School in Birmingham, AL. Jordan attended the N. E. Miles Jewish Day School from grades 1-5.  He has attended CHI and Herzel camps in the South.  Jordan LOVES basketball, other sports, Xbox and hanging out with his older brother, Daniel.  He looks forward to starting JconnecT with his friends Mack and Yoni!

What is JconnecT? 

 
JconnecT is an online Jewish Studies program which offers two dynamic, live, weekly study sessions with an experienced teacher in Jerusalem for students in grades 5-7 and 8-10, 10-12 CST.
  
hands around globeSession I: Jewish Identity as related to holidays and the weekly Torah portion (parshat hashavua).
 
Session II: Contemporary Jewish Issues as connected through current events that surround Jewish life in the US and Israel which includes Hebrew language, Israeli culture, and Jewish history.

These sessions, as well as an optional online guided supplemental study and three annual in-person events to be held in centrally located Memphis, TN, will create a vibrant social, educational community of Jewish learning.
