2 Daily Halachas
from

Our Rabbis tell us - one who studies [at least two] Halachos daily is assured a portion in Olam Haba -  the world to come (Gemorah Megilla 28)

The Vilna Gaon also said that for every word of Torah one learns one gets 613 Mitzvahs.

Therefore, we are going to learn two daily Halachas every day from Sefer Kitzur Shulchan Aruch and other sources.

Laws of Purim

It's a mitzvah to send gifts of food to fellow Jews.   These gifts are called mishloach manos.   This mitzvah increases friendship among Jews.   One fulfills the mitzvah by sending at least two types of foods that are ready to be eaten, which do not require any further cooking, etc. to another person.  Drinks may also be sent.   It is best to send the mishloach manos with a messenger instead of bringing it oneself.

It is a special mitzvah to give gifts to the poor on Purim.  One fulfills this mitzvah by giving gifts to at least two poor people (giving one gift to each of the two poor people).   This gift should either be money or food.

(45)   The Chofetz Chaim says, if one did not concentrate for most of the prayer and he's near the end of the prayer, he should motivate himself with all his strength to concentrate on the brochos that are still left.
