Part 5: THE PRAYER
11. One may not interrupt the shemoneh esray with words or even a gesture. Even if a king greets him he may not respond, unless not answering will put his life in danger.
12. One may not answer even kadish or kedusha during the brochos of shemoneh esray, but when he hears the chazan saying them, he should be silent and concentrate on what the chazan is saying.
