2 Daily Halachas
from

Our Rabbis tell us - one who studies [at least two] Halachos daily is assured a portion in Olam Haba -  the world to come (Gemorah Megilla 28)

The Vilna Gaon also said that for every word of Torah one learns one gets 613 Mitzvahs.

Therefore, we are going to learn two daily Halachas every day from Sefer Kitzur Shulchan Aruch and other sources.

Laws of Davening Shemoneh Esray

Part 5:  THE PRAYER

9.  At the end of the shemoneh esray, before saying "oseh shalom," one should bow so that all the vertebrae in his spinal column protrude, and take three steps backwards like a servant departing from his master.

 10.   After taking these three steps, while still bent over, he should say, "oseh shalom bimromov" turning towards the left, then say, "hu ya'aseh shalom alaynu" turning towards the right, then bow towards the front and finish the verse, and then stand up straight.

"Nothing grows from the ground unless seeds are planted first.   The seed of falsehood must be buried before the truth can sprout forth!".

50 Suggestions for Concentrating during Prayer!

(29)   The sefer Derech Chaim says, when those sitting next to someone pray with concentration, it will be easier for him to concentrate as well, whereas when those sitting next to him are scoffers who pray without concentration, it will be very difficult for him to concentrate.   Concerning this it says (Sukkah 56b) "Woe to a wicked person and woe to his neighbor.".
