2 Daily Halachas
from

Our Rabbis tell us - one who studies [at least two] Halachos daily is assured a portion in Olam Haba -  the world to come (Gemorah Megilla 28)

The Vilna Gaon also said that for every word of Torah one learns one gets 613 Mitzvahs.

Therefore, we are going to learn two daily Halachas every day from Sefer Kitzur Shulchan Aruch and other sources.

Part 5:  THE PRAYER

7.  One must bow at the beginning and end of the first brocha and at the beginning and end of modim, but he may not bow at the beginning or end of any other brocha.  The bowing is done as follows:  when one says the word "Boruch", he should bend his knees, and when he says "Atoh", he should bend his body and his head until all the vertebrae in his spinal column protrude.

 8.   When he says the name of G-d, he should slowly pick up his head then the rest of his body.  At modim he should bend his knees and bow his head and body at the first word, and rise at the name of HaShem.

50 Suggestions for Concentrating during Prayer!

(28)   The sefer Derech Chaim says, when someone enters the place in which a person is praying, he disturbs his concentration.  Therefore, when one prays by himself without a minyan he should make sure, if possible, to pray in a place where he knows no one will enter.
