2 Daily Halachas
from

Our Rabbis tell us - one who studies [at least two] Halachos daily is assured a portion in Olam Haba -  the world to come (Gemorah Megilla 28)

The Vilna Gaon also said that for every word of Torah one learns one gets 613 Mitzvahs.

Therefore, we are going to learn two daily Halachas every day from Sefer Kitzur Shulchan Aruch and other sources.

Part 4:  MIND

3.  One should think about the exaltedness of G-d and the lowliness of man, and remove all thoughts of the pleasures of this world from his mind.

 4.  One should realize that he does not deserve to have G-d fulfill his request but he should think, "who am I, that I should come and ask something from the King of Kings, if not for the great kindness with which He treats His creations?"

A One Minute a Day Torah Thought !

"It is clear that HaShem created the Torah as a remedy against the yetzer hara and it is absolutely impossible to be rid of this malady without this cure.  Who, then, would place this cure aside and take something in its stead in order to live".

50 Suggestions for Concentrating during Prayer!

(23)   The sefer Derech Chaim says, when a person increases his involvement in learning Torah and doing mitzvahs, he will become closer to HaShem and cling to Him, and his fear and love of Him will be set in his heart.  Then when he gets up to pray, it won't be difficult at all for him to concentrate and to make requests of HaShem in the proper way.
