Tomorrow Shabbos is Tu Bi-Shvat (15th of Shvat).
Tu Bi-Shvat is the beginning of the year for trees. This date determines which year the fruits of the trees belong to regarding the mitzvos of the Land of Israel (orlah, neta revai, terumos, ma'aser, etc.). Fruits which reach the stage of growth known as chanatah before Tu Bi-Shvat belong to the former year, while those which reach that stage after Tu Bi-Shvat belong to the next year.
It is customary to eat fruits on Tu Bi-Shvat for which the Land of Israel is praised. This is an expression of our love for the Land of Israel, and the mitzvos that apply to it.
Tachanun is not recited on Tu Bi-Shvat.

A One Minute a Day Torah Thought !
"It is not surprising that Moshe Rabbeinu attained what he did. Had I had a teacher such as his teacher - HaShem - I, too, would be equal to Moshe. Now, if you wish to understand why I did not have the same teacher, the answer is that I am no Moshe Rabbeinu!'".
