2 Daily Halachas
from

Our Rabbis tell us - one who studies [at least two] Halachos daily is assured a portion in Olam Haba -  the world to come (Gemorah Megilla 28)

The Vilna Gaon also said that for every word of Torah one learns one gets 613 Mitzvahs.

Therefore, we are going to learn two daily Halachas every day from Sefer Kitzur Shulchan Aruch and other sources.

Laws of Davening Shemoneh Esray

Part 3:  POSTURE

1.  One should stand during the Shemoneh Esray, with his feet together as if they were one.

 2.  One should stand facing Eretz Israel, and one who is in Erez Israel should face toward Jerusalem, and the place of the Holy Temple.

A One Minute a Day Torah Thought !

"It is promised to Avraham Avinu, HaShem used only two words to indicate that He would punish the Egyptians for enslaving the Jewish people, namely: 'I will judge them'.   If HaShem performed so many miracles to fulfill a promise of only two words, imagine how much more spectacular the ultimate redemtion, that had been promised over and over in the Books of the Neviim, will be.".

50 Suggestions for Concentrating during Prayer!

(17)   The Tur on Orach Chayim says, one should not pray in a place where there is something that disturbs his concentration,
nor at a time when his concentration would be disturbed, for example when his mind is unsettled because of anger.   If he must pray now, he should see to it that he first removes the thoughts that disturb him.
