2 Daily Halachas
from

Our Rabbis tell us - one who studies [at least two] Halachos daily is assured a portion in Olam Haba -  the world to come (Gemorah Megilla 28)

The Vilna Gaon also said that for every word of Torah one learns one gets 613 Mitzvahs.

Therefore, we are going to learn two daily Halachas every day from Sefer Kitzur Shulchan Aruch and other sources.

Part 2:  BODILY PREPARATIONS

7.  One must wash his hands before praying even if they are totally clean.  This applies to mincha and maariv as well.

 8.  One who drank a revi'is (approx. 3 oz. of wine) may not pray until its effect has worn off.

9.  It is good to give charity before prayer.

A One Minute a Day Torah Thought !

This week's parsha is Parsha Beshalach

The Dubner Maggid ZTL observes that after all the tremendous miracles that HaShem did for the Jewish people in Egypt and at the Yam Suf, their song of praise should have gone on and on for quite some time, thanking HaShem for every act.

Instead, they glorified His Name and praised HaShem for his greatness, because in the grand scheme, things can change and miracles today might not be there tomorrow.

But one thing is for sure:  the glory of HaShem remains forever!
