5. One should not pray with bare feet, since that is not the way one stands in front of important people, but he shoud put on socks and shoes.
6. One may not pray if he must relieve himself (and in certain cases if he prays without relieving himself, he must pray again).

(15) The Tur on Orach Chayim says, one should consider that if he were speaking to a human being, who is here today and tomorrow in the grave, he would organize his words and concentrate on them well so that he would not say anything incorrectly. All the more so should one concentrate when speaking in front of the King of Kings, HaShem, Who is the source of all blessings, because to Him thoughts are like words, for he investigates all thoughts.
