Laws of the Fast of the Tenth of Teves
This Sunday Dec. 27, 2009 is the Fast of the Tenth of Teves
1. If you forgot to say aneinu in the mincha shemonah esrei on a fast day, if one remembered before mentioning G-d's Name at the end of the shema koleinu return to the beginning of aneinu, and recite the passage.
If one remembered after mentioning G-d's Name at the end of shema koleinu, but before taking the three steps back at the end of the shemona esrei then recite aneinu after Elokai Netzor at the end of shemona esrei.
If one finished reciting shemona esrei and began taking the three steps back do not repeat the shemona esrei.
2. The chazan recites aneinu during the repetition of the morning and mincha shemona esrei. Aneinu is then added between the blessings of goel Yisrael and refa'einu.

A One Minute a Day Torah Thought !
"Emes - truth - is singular. There is only one truth. If one tries to divide this truth into a number of separate truths, what he has done is create sheker - falsehood.".
(Rav Nachman of Breslev - Sefer Torah Tavlin)
A Touch of Kindness - Story
I got a flat on the Palisades Parkway. A police officer stopped and called a tow service. The tow truck arrived and the mechanic proceeded to fix the flat.
As he was working a car pulled up in front of the tow truck and a gentleman and women got out. They were in Chassidic dress. I waved to them that things were well and they got in their car and drove off.
