Laws of V'sein Tal Umatar
1. If one is in doubt whether he has said "V'sein Tal Umatar" then if more than 30 days have elapsed from the time this phrase was to be included in the shemonah esrei, so that he or she has prayed 90 times as is required, the presumption is that he or she has prayed properly this time, too. But if it's within 30 days, he or she must repeat the shemonah esrei.
2. If by error we say "V'sein Tal Umatar" during the summer, we must repeat the brocho "borech aleinu": but if we become aware of the error after saying "yiheyu lertzon" at the end of shemonah esrei, we must repeat the shemonah esrei.

A Torah Thought for Today
The oil of the menorah is relentlessly drawn to the wick, though it ends up being burnt by the flame. One must be drawn to HaShem, though at times he may appear to suffer monetary loss. Ultimately, he will not lose out - he will be rewarded abundantly.
