Study links reduced fertility to flame retardants
Reading a pregnancy test Women with higher blood levels of PBDEs, commonly used flame retardants, took longer to get pregnant than women with lower levels, according to a new UC Berkeley study. The flame retardants are used in foam furniture, electronics, fabrics, carpets, plastics and other common items in the home.

Conference on turning green to gold attracts  200 to Brower Center
