Highlight:

Increase membership beyond the average unit size

Now is the time to start planning for your fall recruiting.  SHAC and your district are setting up the schedule of rally nights and other recruiting activities now.  Contact your district membership chair to determine how your unit can best help itself and others in recruiting this fall.  Packs should plan on rally nights in conjunction with your school district or chartered organization.  Troops should offer youth and adults to help their feeder packs.  Crews and ships can help.  Often older brothers and even high school age brothers and sisters will come, with another recruiting opportunity for troops, crews and ships.  If the schools will allow, troops, crews and ships can have a booth at middle and high school orientation nights.  Finally, nothing succeeds like encouraging your youth to recruit other youth by providing a Recruiter patch.
