Scholarships Available To Leadership Summit! ACT NOW!
If you would like to attend, funds are available now. All you have to do is register and fill our a scholarship form. Click here for the form.
You will meet other community leaders (elected officials, business people educators, parents, civic groups and others) who want to make Oklahoma the best place for girls and women. Through networking and break-out sessions, participants will come away with the tolls they need to share with others in their communities ways to improve the quality of life in Oklahoma for everyone.
Several of our volunteers have said they can attend as a representative for their area but lack the funds to be able to pay for their registration fees. We understand this need and want to help fill it as much as possible. We have held 10% of the Community Service Team cookie bonus from each Community Service Team to help provide scholarships (this funding can be reflected on your 2010-2011 budget as training) and the council will match these funds so we can provide as much opportunity as possible for our volunteers and community members to attend.
July 23 & 24 at the NCED/Marriott in Norman.
$100 (includes room, meals, the event and all materials) -- A $300 value!

Join The Alumnae Now's The Time!
Since 1912, millions of women's lives have been positively influenced - sometimes even transformed - by their Girl Scout experience. Whether you are one of the millions of women who were Girl Scouts, including Brownie Girl Scouts, or you were a volunteer or staff member who worked at the national or local level to help Girl Scouts reach their full potential, you are forever connected to a rich and vibrant movement.
Evidence of the positive and life-changing experience Girl Scouting has had on women can be found long after their days of selling cookies has passed. Whether they've grown to become a doctor, teacher, mother or judge, we all share a common influence - the lessons we learned at an impressionable young age, as taught by Girl Scout role models.
