This week was our chance to give back at RRDC,
As we donated change to charity.
The Kindergartners trip was really great,
Seeing The Little Mermaid at the LI Puppet Theater was first rate!
C is for Cookie was a YUMMY event,
As we colored, sang and ate under the hockey tent.
Carnival Day with rides, cotton candy and inflatables,
We were smiling and laughing, this day was incredible!
Hollywood Day brought out our charm, style and grace,
with a special puppet show that really rocked this place!
Last but not least, the 1st 4 weeks flew by so fast,
We said good-bye to some campers, knowing they had a blast!
Welcome to the RIVA' to our 2nd 4 week friends,

Navigator Notes
Chrissy Bruno, Navigator Supervisor
It was such a fun week for the Navigators! On Tuesday, the entire division went to see the Brooklyn Cyclones play the Aberdeen Ironbirds at MCU Park in Coney Island. Everyone had the opportunity to run the bases after the game which was such a fun treat for us all! Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate with us for our Thursday Long Beach trip. Instead, we spent a great afternoon seeing Ice Age 4.
Navigators Got Talent was a huge success for our special event "Hollywood Day." We even had a special guest judge, the one and only Joe Gannascoli from the hit HBO show The Sopranos. All of the campers that chose to participate each had unique and special talents that they wanted to share with us. We saw singing, dancing, juggling, hula hooping, and much, much more!
We are looking forward to our trips next week on the Miss Freeport fishing boat and to Mountain Creek Waterpark. Thank you to all who contributed to our annual Coin Harvest to help support the RRDC campmates program. We truly appreciate all of your generosity!
A reminder to all families- check your email every Friday for trip information for next week's trips. As always, if you have any question, please feel free to email me at chrissy@rollingriver.com.

CIT- F.Y.I
Melanie & Matt, CIT Counselors
This week the CITs participated in a number of fantastic "giving back" activities at camp! Many of them donated to our coin harvest and jump-roped for heart with their groups. The Brooklyn Cyclones game on Tuesday was so much fun! The Skipper group CITs participated in the "C is for Cookie" event, listening to stories & songs about cookies, and of course making their own edible Cookie Monsters! The Mariner Lip-Sync competition was such a hit due to our dedicated CITs hard work and planning for their groups. Great job to all!!!
Next week we have a bunch of trips and special events planned. On Monday we will be venturing to Aviator Sports, Tuesday we will be heading to Dave & Busters, and Thursday we will splash down at Mountain Creek Water Park. Look out for some special *surprise* events and an awesome Hawaiian Water carnival on Friday!!! Have a great weekend!
If you have any questions about the CIT program please email cit@rollingriver.com.
