Ahoy and happy holidays! As winter approaches, Rolling River is getting into the spirit with some cool activities, events, special promotions and contests.
- Saturday's Great Date Night is now closed out! Email camp@rollingriver.com to be put on the waiting list if you would still like to attend. For families who are attending, please read important details below. Remember to bring an unwrapped gift for Toys for Tots holiday toy drive!
- Tickets are now available for Rolling River's Winter Reunion at the New York Islanders game on Saturday, January 21 at 7:00pm. Tickets are $20 each and a small portion of sales will be donated towards The Campmates Program 2012.
- Introducing our new and incredible Referral Rewards Program for our 20th Anniversary Voyage, 20for20! We're challenging you to refer new families to tour RRDC. Any family who refers 20 touring families will receive a $2,000 cash prize! To also celebrate our 20th Anniversary, our $1,000 Fill Your Sails with Savings raffle winner selected on Hip Hop Night will instead win an 8 week camp tuition for $1,993- our original opening price! See below for more details.
- Rolling River is excited to announce that we will be pilot-testing a new camp group for 3 & 4 year olds that incorporate sensory & language based activities for children transitioning out of early intervention. Read more about the N1 Tadpoles below.
- SAVE THE DATE- February Holiday Camp: February 21-24. Enrollment forms will be available on your Camp In Touch account after the new year.
- Rolling River is now booking spring birthday parties. Dates are going fast so call camp for information today. Special discount pricing for enrolled 2012 campers.

IMPORTANT NOTE- Campers will be walking outside between activities. Please make sure to send your children with appropriate coats and shoes.

Price: $20 per ticket, cash only (a small portion of the ticket sales will be donated towards Rolling River's Campmates Program, which provides tuition-free camp experiences for children associated with Peninsula Counseling Center)
Tickets: Limited tickets available, first come first serve. Tickets in the lowest rows will be allotted to families who sign up first...so move quickly!
*All Rolling River families will be invited to take a group photo on center ice after the game!

As we look back on the past 19 years, we realize we could not be where we are today without the incredible support and ongoing referrals from our Rolling River families and staff. As a thank you, we are introducing 2 new referral promotions just for 2012 to celebrate our 20th Anniversary "Sail-a-Bration":

Starting January 1, 2012, Rolling River is asking YOU to share your camp experience with friends and family. Any Rolling River family or staff member that refers 20 families to simply tour camp will win $2,000!!!! 20 referred, toured families = $2,000! If no one reaches 20 referred tours, the family or staff member with the highest number of referrals that toured our camp facility will win $1,000! Fill Your Sails With Savings RAFFLE PRIZE Every year at Hip Hop Night, Rolling River awards one lucky family with $1,000 off camp tuition just for referring new families. This year is no exception, yet the prize is bigger and better than ever!
Instead of $1,000 off camp tuition, this year's lucky winner will pay only $1,993 an 8 week voyage in 2013...the original Rolling River tuition in 1993!

Introducing the N1 Tadpoles:
A Camp Group with Emphasis on Sensory & Language Based Development Developed by special education teachers and occupational/speech therapists, Rolling River is excited to pilot test a new camp group that will assist 3 & 4 year olds who are transitioning into mainstream classes.
The program will feature:
- A smaller camp group
- Additional transition time built into schedule
- Sensory and language based exercises incorporated into traditional camp activities
- Focus on ADL skills
- Peer integration for further socialization & communication skills
As this is a pilot test, please note this group will only be formed with enough interest. Contact Ali at alison@rollingriver.com for more information about this new and innovative program.
