Dear Ubuntu Friend,
As the seasons start to change and our spirits start to move inwards to the dream time, I find myself appreciating the wonderful summer that has gone by.
I recently received a copy of my 'Sangoma teachings' interview when I was interviewed by the Earth Medicine Alliance in San Francisco in June. Please click above to view. I especially liked performing the Sangoma chant to honour Nelson Mandela.Enjoy!
I did a pilgrimage to Ireland where I climbed the legendary, Croagh Patrick mountain. The mountain of visions, dreams and mysticism. It was a beautiful day, and I was astounded by the age range of pilgrims from 3 to 68 years! And the amazing tenacity and spiritual fervour of all, seeing as it is a hard vertical climb! I recommend pilgrimages to ignite your spirituality and inspiration.
My Ubuntu medicine journey continues to feed me on many different levels and I am being blessed by adventures in new and interesting places. I took part in the pagan conference, PaGE2012 in Belgium. It was my first time in Belgium. The conference was a wonderful success with people singing, dancing and being together.
I am looking forward to my upcoming workshops and collaborations. I will be teaching alongside Charlie Morley on Sunday for our talk 'Healing through Dreaming'. And next week I have been invited by Ya'Acov Khan of the school of movement medicine to do a spiritual performance for his community in Totnes, Devon. And no season could be complete without a tour of Glastonbury. I will give a talk there on the 23rd September.

As human beings we have the wonderful facility of being able to re-create ourselves. We do this through dreaming, visions and inspiration. I look forward to the day when these gifts can find a way to deal with our shadows of violence, corruption and greed. With the right intention I beleive it is possible.
