Here is an easy and no-cost way for you to support the work of the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition - just by shopping for groceries!  Please visit the Customer Service Desk of your Schnuck's store and ask for an eScrip Community Card.  After you receive your card, activate by calling 800.931.6258 or visit www.escrip.com. Our group ID # is 500004839.  Tell them you are supporting the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition. Then, every time you shop, present your card.  Up to 3% of your total monthly purchases will be donated to the Coalition.  If you already have an eScrip card please consider adding the Coalition.

Grant a Foster Child's Little Wish

Thousands of children remain in foster care wishing for that BIG DREAM -- a forever family.  You may not have room in your home, but you can still help a child in foster care by granting his or her holiday wish of a baseball glove, a first bicycle with helmet, or even a trip to the Science Center. Wishes range from just $30 to $200.

Free Dental Visits Offered by Missouri College
Missouri College recently announced the opening of a new dental hygiene clinic that offers dental services at no charge.  Dental hygiene students, supervised by dentists on staff, will provide patients with a range of dental services including X-rays, gum treatments, teeth cleaning and fluoride treatments for adults and children. While the clinic is located in the St. Louis area (1405 S. Hanley Road), appointments are not limited to area residents.  There will be 150 appointments available weekly until April 2010, when they will expand to 300 appointments weekly.  For more information, please contact Terri Waters at 314.991.4641, x102.

St. Louis County Parks is celebrating their 24th year of Winter Wonderland!  Winter Wonderland is created and designed by St. Louis County Parks Employees.  Winter Wonderland is open until Sunday, January 3, 2010.  Closed Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. Winter Wonderland is open for vehicular traffic and carriage rides Sunday thru Friday from 5:30pm – 9:30pm. Saturdays are closed to vehicular traffic and reserved for carriage rides only.
