UK @ Work town hall meetings highlight staff & faculty survey results, next steps Please make plans to join us this month for one of several events focused on results from the UK@Work survey Through the survey, our staff and faculty provide feedback on UK's work environment, benefits and work-life support. Robynn Pease, director of UK's Work-Life Office, will share findings from the survey and top priorities based on your feedback. This event will also highlight ways you can help shape future efforts to continually improve the work environment for our staff and faculty.

Staff Laptop Loan Program Even though the fall semester is well underway, laptops remain available to loan to eligible UK employees taking classes or other educational coursework or certification programs. Family Caregivers Month Special Events for UK Staff and Faculty in November
We invite all UK faculty and staff to attend workshops and/or support group meetings for caregivers planned for November. Highlights include:

Guidance on Medicare for Your Loved Ones
Starting Monday, October 17, UK Elder Care specialsts will be available by appointment discuss the new Medicare D plans available to your Medicare-eligible loved ones. Contact Elder Care at 323-4600 for more information. This information is intended for: UK employees or retirees who help coordinate care for loved ones who are not covered by a UK retiree health or prescription plan. For example, an aging parent who has retiree health coverage through another employer or through Medicare. This information is NOT intended for: retirees covered now or in the future by a UK retiree health and prescription plan. Leadership Training
Offered through HR T&D, the Essential Leader Program is a certificate series of workshops designed specifically for employees who want to become better leaders and learn key leadership skills. The 80-hour classroom series covers communication, teamwork, creative problem solving and interpersonal skills. Participants have two years to complete all classes. Reality-Based Weight Loss
