Issue No. 23August  2011
Greetings!
This issue of Thrive comes at an exciting time of year for our faculty, staff and students. In the days ahead, I know we'll all be doing our part to ensure a productive start to the fall semester.

This is also the time of year when we celebrate great leaders across our organization. We're now seeking nominations for the third annual Supervisor of the Year award. I hope you'll consider nominating a deserving UK leader before the September 2 deadline. In October, our award luncheon will provide a great opportunity to highlight and reward effective and supportive leadership practices.

Speaking of rewarding, time is running out for you (and your spouse, if she or he is a UK health plan member) to complete your UK Healthtrac Rewards online questionnaire. Depending your health plan and level of coverage, your annual Healthtrac rebate could be worth as much as 57% of your annual employee health plan premium.

On behalf of our entire HR division, best wishes to you for a successful and rewarding academic year.
