Alumni Gym Locker Room Renovations
Renovations will begin with demolition Tues., Sept. 7. Starting next Tuesday, the locker rooms will be closed.
There is a unisex bathroom at the top of the stairs (old women's locker room). There will be no shower facilities. We encourage you to come in your workout clothes already or to utilize Seaton Body Shop with newly remodeled locker facilities with showers. We will update you as information becomes available. Don't Let Road Blocks Keep You from Fitness

 At times, everyone has trouble sticking with their exercise program. We all have our reasons for drifting from the road to fitness. Think of your reasons as road blocks. You have to find a way to avoid them or go around them. Common road blocks include: forgetting workout clothes, scheduling meetings during planned workout times, or forgetting to sign up for an aerobics class. You may have the best of intentions, yet road blocks keep you from moving forward. However, there are several tools to help you avoid road blocks.
Plan for FitnessThe best way to stay on the straight and narrow is to plan your week in advance. Before your work week begins, decide which days you'll go to the gym or do other physical activity. Also decide what time of day you will work out. Treat your workout as if it is a meeting or an appointment that you cannot miss. Put it on your calendar as you would any other appointment. Along with planning your workout times in advance, think about any clothing or equipment you will need. It couldn't hurt to have a spare set of workout clothes in your car or in your office. Some early-morning exercisers have even been known to sleep in their workout clothes. Be prepared and you will have fewer excuses. Remember, when you plan for success, you are much more likely to be successful. Continue reading. |
