Thrive Newsletter Header Oct 2009
Issue No. 3 December 2009
Greetings!

This issue of Thrive brings with it our warmest wishes for you and your loved ones this holiday season.  I also want to take a moment to highlight some positives I think we can all take away from 2009. Despite a challenging economic environment, the University community continues to excel at serving students, patients and our colleagues. Visit any classroom, clinic or physical plant facility, and you will see staff and faculty deeply dedicated to their work and proud to be a part of the University of Kentucky...one more thing we can all celebrate. See you in 2010.

What You Need to Know

scovell

With winter fast approaching, UK employees should be aware of policies related to severe weather delays and closures. On rare occasions, it may be necessary to alter the University schedule. Changes in the University schedule involve the University's emergency severe weather staffing plan, which affects  essential and non-essential employees differently. Visit this page for details.
