"TJ is fantastic!" That was the subject of a message that just popped into my in-box from a long standing Bernal Yoga student. She went on to write:
"Wow! I went to her class yesterday when she subbed for Stephanie and
about a month ago I went to her back class.
She is truly an
expert on various parts of the body and beautifully choreographs her
knowledge through the yoga sequences. Yesterday we concentrated on hips
and I am still feeling it--in a good way. Nowadays I typically don't
notice huge physical shifts after yoga practice for this long.
I
always feel emotional and spiritual shifts--in other words, peace of
mind between daily classes. But today is different in a lovely way,
feeling sensation in my hips. Definitely things opened up for me.
Many
thanks for running a fabulous studio. I am in awe of my good fortune
in having such beautiful yoga practices day after day. Your leadership
and integrity are a godsend."
I was so glad to get this message because this month TJ (Traci Joy Burleigh) is teaching a lot of special events at the studio, details of which are below.
It also reminded me of how important it is to hear from the community about what is working and what can be improved.
Feel free to send your thoughts our way: feedback@bernalyoga.com
Thanks-
Savonn

Yoga for Core Strength and Stability
*NEW* Weekly Class Wednesdays, 8:30-9:20am
Core strength is a yoga buzz phrase, but what does it really mean? In
this class, we will work hard to access, employ, balance and build core
strength through and through. Using poses, breath work and awareness
to become more attune to the deep inner body, we will practice moving
from this place for greater posture, health, vibrancy, stability and
strength. Open to all with relatively healthy backs and familiarity
with yoga.
