First Friday Art Open House
"Yoga & Spirit" Opening Reception at the Studio Friday, June 4th 6:00-8:00pm
Jennifer Parson's "Yoga & Spirit" exhibit opens at the studio this weekend. Stop in and take a look at her breathtaking photographs.
Jennifer said, "From what I am told yoga is not a familiar or common practice in Cambodia and I will be showing a series of photos focusing on some of the first Cambodian born yoga instructors who are leading the country and its children, into a new generation of peace, healing, and yoga. These instructors are actually young girls in their teens and early twenties and there will be information for anyone interested on finding out how they can help or even write a letter to the girls if they are so inspired."

Vinyasa Flow and/or Happy Hour Friday Night
Join us for the class or for time to just hang out and enjoy beverages and light snacks.
Friday, June 25th
Bill will be teaching from 6:00-7:15pm.
We loved the suggestions that have been coming forward via the studio
survey. The idea of an end of the week class coupled with time to
socialize and involve friends/family garnered a lot of interest and comments. We decided, why not? Hopefully, the weather will be lovely and we
can sit out in the garden and share some beverages and light snacks. It
is a mainly BYO affair though we will have things to share.
Regular studio rates for the class.

Inhale/Exhale, Repeat
Community 'Breathe' Workshop with Margaret Townsend Saturday, June 26th (1:30-3:30pm)

As Margaret describes: "Not only does
breathwork free deep stress patterns in the body/mind, it is a doorway
to being more conscious of every aspect of ourselves. I love working
with the breath because it is not a mental process. It touches the
place within us that is beyond our beliefs and who we think we are.
Inner peace, spaciousness and deep stillness is available which for many
is considered a spiritual experience."

Donation Based "Family Yoga" with Rosey Benefit for August
Sunday, June 13th 12:15-1:00pm
August is 3 years old and has had a feeding tube since just after birth.
He needs to learn how to eat and the best place for that is over
in Graz, Austria.
August's
parent, Janet and Johnny,
hope to raise $25,000 to send August to Austria this summer. They are
almost @ 50% of their goal.
Every dollar
contributed to the "August to Austria" fund will be matched by
a generous donor and used to pay for innovative therapy that will teach
August how to eat. Ultimately, the feeding tube will be removed at
the end of the four-week session.
