Greetings!
On May 23rd, we are helping to sponsor the inaugural lululemon Pearl District 5&10K race at Oaks Park. The run, along the Springwater Corridor promises to be a rewarding day for all participants and beneficiaries. All the proceeds go to Street Yoga so while we are enjoying a scenic run with friends, the money raised ultimately turns into a warm coat for a homeless youth or the resources to help someone sustain the courage to keep overcoming poverty and trauma. As students and practitioners of Yoga, it's up to us to set a positive example to look after each other in the community and to help pick those up less fortunate. Your kindness will move through unseen currents of karma up the
Willamette from Oaks Bottom. Trust that your goodwill and actions will impact someone's life in a positive way by participating. We are thankful for the many people and groups supporting and organizing this event. All in all, this is a special package if you sign up for the race. You get a free lululemon shirt, post race food from Whole Foods, massage from Fluid Movement & Massage and restorative yoga class from Rosey the next day. The race starts at 8:00am. Set your alarm for early and lend your time,
efforts and get healthy in the name of a great cause and
fun day. Keep practicing yoga in all that you do. Thanks for your support and patronage.
