Amy and I are so grateful to God for you and to you - for your prayers, and for sending us to the nations to tell the Good News of Christ.   

Please be praying for Amy, my son, Steven, and me, as we depart tomorrow, for our next DSEA mission in Laguna, Philippines, through October 22.  Our NEST (National Evangelist Support Team) Philippines Team of "missionaries" has been working for months on this project.  They always do a great job of preparing!  Our teams will be ministering in five different cities in Laguna - Los Banos, Calamba, Victoria, Calauan and Bay.

Our Life! Leadership Development & Evangelism Training Conference, our CityCelebration crusade outreach events, and our student ministry programs will allow us to reach tens of thousands of people with the message of the love of God.  Our two-day CityCelebration will be held in the city of Calamba, in an evacuation area for refugees and victims of recent flooding.  Please be praying for us as we reach out to these dear people, most of whom have lost literally everything. 

Though most of our focus has been in Africa for the last few years, I have been privileged to preach the Gospel on mission in the Philippines nearly every year since 1994 - more than twenty times - in more places, to more people, more times, than in any other country!  I am joyful to return for yet another marvelous opportunity to tell people about Christ!   

We are thrilled to report that we enjoyed a great project in South Africa in August and September, as we worked with our NEST South Africa partners to reach people in their communities with the wonderful Good News of Christ!

Through our school programs in Acornhoek, ministry in local churches in Hoedspruit, and a women's camp (retreat) in Sabi Sands, Amy and I and our ministry friends and partners reached more than five thousand people with the Gospel!  What a privilege, to stand before so many precious souls, and share the wonderful love of Christ , and to see their joyful response - there is Hope in the Lord Jesus!  Many prayed to receive Christ -- many believers were also encouraged in their walks with Jesus, and re-committed their lives to following Him.

 We are excited about future ministry in South Africa, as we re-connected with "old friends" as well as with a wonderful new church family who have invited us to return to partner with them in providing evangelistic training for their people, mobilization for community evangelistic outreach, and Bible distribution to thousands of people.  God has open doors there for us, and we are grateful.  Thank you for praying for us - God did marvelous things and we were blessed!
