As Thanksgiving approaches, Amy and I are so grateful to God for the opportunities we have to tell the Good News of Christ to the Nations, and for your partnership in prayer and giving as we go. God has allowed us to reach and train multitudes this year, thanks to your generosity.
We are trusting the Lord to provide everything we need for our major mission project in Laguna, Philippines, November 2-14. Our Leadership Development & Evangelism Training Conference is a wonderful opportunity to teach and train workers for the harvest. Amy and I, Steven, Beka, and ministry partner, Paul Vick, need prayer as we get ready to minister to these leaders.
Our NEST (National Evangelist Support Team) Philippines leaders have done a great work preparing our schedules for us through the years. Out in the schools, we have open doors to talk about substance abuse, sexual immorality, and positive motivation - then, to present the Gospel of Christ in a thorough, uncompromised manner. For years, we have seen tens of thousands of Filipinos pray the Sinner's Prayer, on each of our missions there, in our school programs, our CityCelebration community outreach events, and numerous venues.
This year, our CityCelebration will be hosted in an area where people affected by recent flooding and hurricanes are trying to survive in a makeshift area; their homes near the railroad tracks are made of cardboard boxes, plastic, and aluminum sheeting. These "poorest of the poor" are not important to many people, but they are important to God, and we have the opportunity to reach them. As we give them a small bag of rice, and sing and preach about the love of God, and present the message of salvation through Christ alone, we are believing that God is going to do a great work.  Youth Education Strategies: A Note From Steve Stockwell Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ! I am so excited about the open doors God is bringing my way, and the opportunity to travel and partner with my father's ministry, David Stockwell Evangelistic Association, as Youth Education Strategies seeks to tell people the Good News of Jesus Christ! We are busy preparing for our upcoming mission in Laguna, Philippines, Nov. 2-14, 2011. Our teams are scheduled to share the Gospel in over 30 high schools with more than 20,000 students and teachers. We are also planning an open-air community outreach event, and will be hosting an evangelism training conference for local church leaders. We are anticipating another great project! Our last major project in Uganda turned out exceptionally well! I had the privilege of sharing the Gospel with over 14,000 people, and more than 7,400 said they were committing to give their lives to Christ as LORD and Savior for the first time! In total, our team was able to share the Good News in 65 schools with more than 30,000 students, and over 18,000 made professions of faith. We were also able to distribute 35,000 tracts and 150 New Testaments! Please keep our team and the people of the Philippines in your prayers. Dear Friends, Thank you for partnering with our ministry to send me to the nations! I am so very blessed by you and the love you have for the Lord. Thank you for your diligence in praying for our ministry. We have seen God do amazing things in 2011 already, and we are excited about what God has in store for the rest of the year! We are thrilled about our upcoming mission in the Philippines, November 2-14, 2011. Amy and David Stockwell, their son, Steven, Evangelist Paul Vick, and I will have many opportunities to reach out to the Filipino people through our David Stockwell Speaks Out school programs, in more than 30 schools. We also look forward to our community outreach, our CityCelebration, and Victorious Life! Evangelism Training Conference. Since I returned from Africa, I have been joyfully at work in the DSEA office and serving at my church. Recently I began volunteering for the Awana program every Wednesday evening. Working with the Cubbies, who are three and four year olds, is such a treat. I am amazed to see God at work in the hearts of these little children. I am reminded of how real God became to me when I was only three. This gives me great confidence when I minister to these children because I know it really does make a difference. God is beginning to lay a foundation in their lives! As we seek the Lord and He gives us strength, we are able to do so many things for Him. Thank you so much for your friendship and support. A Note From David:
An Encouraging Word from a Ugandan Pastor
I want to share with you a wonderful, encouraging note we received from one of our pastor friends in Uganda; he has hosted our Victorious Life! Leadership Development & Evangelism Training Conference three times at his growing church in Kampala in 2007, 2009, and also this year in July. We are so glad that we have been able to be a part of training and encouraging him and his leadership team, as they serve the Lord Jesus.
"Hullo, David! Greetings in the name Jesus; hope all is well and the DSEA ministry is still impacting the world with the life-changing Word of God. We thank God for you and the team which invested both time and money to come and be a blessing to our nation.
"I didn't find time to tell you that during the time you came, we mobilised an outreach team of 20 people, which we facilitated with lunch and transport from 6-8 July 2011, who moved daily from house to house preaching the Gospel under the DSEA banner, and the good news is that 72 souls gave their lives to Christ, and we shall be baptising some of them next month. Glory to God! Greetings to your wife and all the team that come, and we pray that God will allow you time and grace to come back to our area."
