Amy and I are really excited about our upcoming mission in Uganda, June 27-July 13!  Our team departs today the 27th for our campaign in rural areas and in the capital city of Kampala.  Our NEST (National Evangelist Support Team) country leader for Uganda, Pastor Apollo, is working diligently on preparations for our kick-off event in rural Kakooge near Ekitangaala Ranch, home of our partners in ministry, African Children's Mission.  Our three-day CityCelebration will be an open-air celebration of the Lord Jesus, where we will reach out to people who need the Gospel with praise and worship, testimonies, and the preaching of the Gospel.  

 

During the week of July 4-8, our teams will spread out all over the city of Kampala, conducting our David Stockwell Speaks Out school programs.  We will be speaking in more than sixty high schools and universities, encouraging young people to turn away from drugs, alcohol and sexual immorality, and to say, "Yes" to Jesus Christ!  Our time in Uganda will finish with ministry in local churches and our two-day Leadership Development & Evangelism Training Conference for pastors, evangelists and Christian workers.  My son, Steven, will stay on the field preaching through the first week of August; staff member Beka Hawkins has been on the ground since the end of May, and will continue ministering through August 2.
