Thank you so very much for standing with us with your praying and giving as we travel to the nations with the wonderful Good News of Jesus!  This has been an awesome year so far, full of opportunity to proclaim the Gospel clearly and without compromise. 

We rejoice at the many thousands of people in Kenya and in Tanzania who have heard and responded to the call to follow Christ this year, through our continued efforts in those countries!  Our NEST (National Evangelist Support Team) evangelists in The Philippines, in Uganda, in Malawi, in Zambia and in Zimbabwe, in South Africa, and in other countries have continued the work of preaching the Gospel in schools, in marketplaces, and in their communities, and have reached untold thousands with that marvelous story of the precious, cleansing blood of the Lord Jesus, and salvation through Him alone.

Amy and I depart tomorrow for a mission in Sao Luis, Brazil, where we will partner with Southern Baptist missionaries, Deborah and Keith Jefferson, who have been on the field in Brazil for fifteen years.  This is our third mission in Brazil,

and we look forward to reaching out to the Sao Luis, Maranhao community with our evangelistic programs. We will also minister in a local "quilombo," where the descendants of runaway slaves, brought to Brazil by Portuguese traders hundreds of years ago, have existed basically untouched by the outside world.  Ministry to the Quilombolas has been the focus of the Jeffersons' ministry in Brazil since 1995.
