Friday, September 21 from 6-8 p.m.
Potter Park YMCA
The PTA is hosting a night at the water park for SCS families to swim and fellowship together. The entire water park will be open just for SCS, so don't miss out on all the fun!
Cost: $5 per child, adults free, max $20 per family. Concessions available.

Yearbook Portraits

View Schedule
Jessica Overholt Photography will be taking individual portraits and class photos on the dates listed (click on "View Schedule" above) and this will be a dress-up/no uniform day for your child.
Approximately one week after your child's portraits are taken the images will be uploaded to an online viewing gallery. There you will be able to choose from up to four different images of your child for ordering. Click here for ordering instructions.

Spirit Shirt Design Contest
|  The PTA is sponsoring the 2012-13 Spirit Shirt Design Contest. This contest is open to all SCS elementary, middle and high school students.
We're looking for a shirt that everyone can wear on Spirit Days, to games, to family fun events, off-campus and wherever you may go, and this is YOUR chance to be a part of the winning design!

New This Year: Fall Book Fair Family Night
Thursday, October 4

 The book fair is coming! It will be open daily during school Monday, October 1st, through Friday, October 5th.
But don't miss your opportunity this year to come pick out some great books, eat some great desserts and visit with other families and friends at the first ever Fall Book Fair Family Night! The event will be held on Thursday, October 4th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Come join us for a great evening!

Magazine Drive a Success
|
The magazine drive raised over $7,600! Thank you for all your support!
The top selling classes were 4th, 5th, & 8th grades. Way to go! Those classes will get to enjoy a visit from the ice cream truck.
Kudos to the top sellers Casey Carle (6th) and Joshua Fitzgerald (4th)!

Parent Volunteer Opportunities

 Picture Days
Dates: Sept. 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28
Time: 1 to 2 hours in the morning on picture days
Details: Volunteers are needed to assist the photographer with students during their scheduled picture time. You can help one day or more based on your availability.

Book Fair
Dates: October 1-5
Time: Any time during school hours and/or during the Book Fair Family Night from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Details: Volunteers are needed for setup the week prior to the fair, to be cashiers during the fair, and to break down the book fair on the last day.

Details: Volunteers are needed to help with plans prior to the event or to help the day of the event.

|  The Athletic Booster Club is once again offering a card with discounts for local businesses/restaurants for only $10.
Businesses include: Outback, Don Pablo's, Pinchers, Perkins, Dairy Queen, Detwilers Farm Market, Honey Baked Ham, SRQ Pizza, Applebees, Keva Juice, AB Nails, Jiffy Lube, and Living Word.
