As we mentioned in our last newsletter, our new website is coming soon and will include classified advertising so that you can more easily buy and sell aircraft, hangars and other aviation-related merchandise. All advertising is free of charge to airport tenants. The new website will launch in the next few weeks, so if you have a plane or hangar for sale, or are looking for a partner in an aviation investment, be sure to send us your advertising text of 250 words or less and a photo or two and we'll include them prominently when the site goes live! Your advertising info can be sent to: Place an Ad

Greetings!
As you can see above, we recently updated our airport logo and our new website is nearing completion. With these updates, our intention is to tell the airport's story in a stronger way that will invite more of the community into our world to enjoy the wonderful experience of Waukesha County Airport along with us. We're also aiming to provide new communication channels with a redesigned wesite for our tenants to get the information they need and to communicate with each other more easily, especially in the frigid days of winter, which is clearly now upon us.
Enjoy reading this month's newsletter, and if you have any ideas for articles that we should include in an upcoming issue, please let me know.
Happy Holidays to you and your families from all of us in airport management.
Fly Safe and Stay Warm, Kurt Stanich Waukesha County Airport Operations

New Beginnings Youth Aviation Program
Living Lake Country recently profiled the New Beginnings Christian Church Youth Aviation program as members of the church brought a group of youth to Crites Field to learn about aviation. The program began in 2006 to provide focus for disenfranchised youth. Its volunteers include church members and airport community members Charles Allen and Dr. Stan Markus. Read the full article at: Living Lake Country Article Link
As many of you know, Markus is also an accomplished musician and he is donating the proceeds from his latest CD to the program. If you'd like to buy the CD to help contribute, click here Markus Music Link

Ken's career history also includes extensive construction experience and credentials, and he has led two businesses over the years. He and his fiance, Laura, have a 2-year-old son, Jaxson and a dog, Punky, who are moving into their new home in Watertown. As you may recall, former Tower Chief Andy Groth was promoted to Manager of the Central Region for Midwest ATC Services, Inc. and we hear that he's enjoying his new role.

Snow Patrol is On Duty
Snow Patrol, Inc., will once again be plowing snow at the airport this season and helping us to maintain our strong track record of keeping the airport open regardless what Mother Nature sends our way. Our first priority is always keeping the runways clear for aircraft, but if you notice a problem area that is not being cleared properly anywhere on the airport, please contact the airport management office and let us know. If you want to hire Snow Patrol to plow snow on your hangar ramp, you are welcome to contact them at 262-507-0201.
