ROOTS Fest 2011:
A Festival with a Purpose

We're so proud to announce that ROOTS Fest and its team of leaders have been all over the local and national press.  Here are some highlights: Carlton Turner, ROOTS' Executive Director, was featured on The Tavis Smiley Show on Saturday morning, we had a great article in The Baltimore Sun, and Monday morning (June 20), Anthony David, one of our headliners, will be featured on The Tom Joyner Morning Show.

It's not too late to come out.  Please consider joining us next week:
ROOTS Fest 2011: Many Communities, One Voice; June 22-26; Baltimore, MD.  We'll see you in the Charm City!

35th Anniversary Slide Show

In preparation for ROOTS Fest 2011, Eleanor Brownfield has created a slide show of images from across our 35-year history.  The slide show will be premiered at the Alternate ROOTS 35th Birthday Party on Friday, June 24 at Bluford Drew Jemison STEM Academy, the site of our National Learning Exchange
