"Today Noemi gave her first talk to the ninth and tenth grade students about her experience of the Holocaust. Her message of hope, love, and understanding was warmly accepted by the students and staff of TAS. When she told her story to the 500 plus students, you could hear a pin drop. Later in the day, she met with two groups of students who were given the opportunity to ask her questions. The questions were fascinating. Trying to find projects or pages in My eCoach with specific keywords or tags? Now you can easily search from every page within My eCoach with our new search menu.

This drop down menu is located near the top of the right-hand bar above the list of your friends and recent projects. Click and select to search for your keywords and tags from public blogs, bulletins, eLibrary, eLibrary Spotlight, Featured Projects, members, surveys, tags, and Tips and Tricks.

Some pages will allow you to refine your search. Select from the "Advanced Search" or "Refine Search" to add filters. Pages and/or projects with the desired keyword(s) and/or tag(s) will appear with the word(s) highlighted in yellow. Select from the title to open that page.

We just launched a free team for My eCoach members who are in leadership roles called the My eCoach Leadership Team. This free team is for leaders from around the world to:

• ask/ answer questions with people in similar roles
• find resources and research
• connect/ communicate/ collaborate with others
• share tips or tidbits that will help make you and your job more effective
• explore My eCoach's customizable team tools and new features in this supportive environment

Ever try to walk someone through a problem on their computer over the phone? If you've answered "yes," then you know how difficult it can be to instruct someone when you both cannot see each others' screen. Skype recently added a new version for Mac OSX users that includes the ability to share your screen with one another person for free.

 

To get started, sign up for your free account through Skype.com. Once you are set up and have another person's Skype address, make a call by clicking on the green phone icon. When the other user has answered, you can choose to share your screen from the top "Screen" icon on the window. At that point, anything on your screen can be viewed by the person on the other end. To close your screen sharing, simply reselect the screen icon and either just chat or select video (if you have a camera) to let the other person see you.
